MediaTech Productions Email Services Policies
MediaTech Productions adheres to Net Etiquette and prohibits users of its email services engaging in certain conduct on the Internet through or by means of MediaTech Productions email services which includes the following:
Advertising and Solicitation (Spam)
You may not use MediaTech Productions email services to send unsolicited advertising, promotional material or other forms of solicitation to any Internet user except in those specified areas that are designated for such a purpose (e.g. classified area) unless you receive the express permission of the recipient. MediaTech Productions reserves the right to block or filter mass email solicitations on or through MediaTech Productions email services.
Forgery
It is possible, through various means, to send email with an email address that does not exist or does not belong to you. It is a violation of MediaTech Productions policy to forge email.
MEDIATECH PRODUCTIONS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE, WITHOUT NOTICE, THE ACCOUNT OF ANYONE WHO VIOLATES THE ADVERTISING AND SOLICITION (SPAM) OR FORGERY POLICY.
Backup
It is the responsibility of the user to backup his/her email messages and address lists. MediaTech Productions cannot be held liable for loss of any information.
Limitations of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL MEDIATECH PRODUCTIONS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, USE OF THE MEDIATECH PRODUCTIONS EMAIL SERVICES OR ANY MEDIATECH PRODUCTIONS PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH MEDIATECH PRODUCTIONS EMAIL SERVICES.
Privacy Policy
We will not share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your written permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
Policy for Domain Administrators
If you are managing a domain hosted at MediaTech Productions you adhere to the policies in this document. It is your responsibility to inform the users of the domains you manage of the MediaTech Productions email services policies stated in this document.
Training
Training on how to administer users, aliases and forwarders using the web based domain administration interface or setting up email clients is available at the standard rate for MediaTech Productions technical services. Training is not part of the email hosting agreement.
Password Policy
Password must be at least eight (8) characters long and must contain at least one (1) number, one (1) uppercase, one (1) lowercase letter and one (1) symbol (e.g. R7qT$5lm). Ask us today if you need assistance on creating easy to remember passwords adhering to these standards.
System Maintenance
MediaTech Productions may have to shut down email services from time to time to perform administrative and maintenance tasks on the email system. MediaTech Productions will send notification to domain administrators and email users at least 24 hours in advance.
Although MediaTech Productions provides anti-spam services, it is the responsibility of the user to protect their mail services against spam and phishing attacks.
